" Maps "

Space maps: One pet gain 1 level (maybe) 3 rare ("Rare" is the item status, could be worthless to unbuyable) and about 10k np

Spooky maps:9 spooky foods (good for esographer, and not usually worth it) and 5000 to 10000 np

Underwater maps: All your pets gain one level, lots of underwater treats (mostly kelps) and unknown number of np
(Not usually worth it)

Original: This is completely random, usually not worth it.
you get some NP (usually less than 15,000) and 3-6 "rare" items.
("Rare" is the item status, could be worthless to unbuyable)

Secret Laboratory Map: When you complete this map, you get to use the Secret Laboratory where you can "zap" one of your pets every day. Well worth it.

Mainly you can find them in other people's shops, if you are lucky though you can pick them up as random events. And depending on what map you are talking about, scorchy slots gives out treasure map pieces when you get three or more treasure map icons.
